Katarsis (Cathasis) is a series of ceramic vessels and photographs examining personal cultural identity and feelings of belonging to place as part of a masters research degree completed at the National Art School in 2018 over two years. The images and objects produced are part of the journey of finding a belonging within the Australian culture whilst maintaining a South African identity.
